		<description>Erin,
It was a pleasure to see you back on the SF Opera stage this weekend (we saw Bonesetter Saturday and Boccanegra Sunday). We first became aware of you as a singer in your charming Cherubino several years ago in Fairfield. You were terrific in that role. Then we watched for you in the chorus at SFO and came to admire your acting skills-- you lit up the stage from the chorus. Anyway, we were happy to see you back, but I wish we could hear you sing more. Do you have any gigs coming up?

BTW, are you any relation to Ed Neff, the bluegrass musician? Several years ago we were at a bluegrass festival and heard a young soprano singing arias in her tent. She said she was the niece of Ed Neff and that she had a relative who was a professional opera singer. Is that you, by any chance?

		<description>Dear Ms. Neff,

A belated but heartfelt thanks for taking the time to meet with my students Karina and Christine. They enjoyed meeting you very much, found the experience inspiring, and gave a very good oral presentation to the class.

With best wishes,

Martin</description>
